WOW!  Beautiful car.  I love that black honey comb grill.  Gotta get one of those for mine.  Like the red R/T badging too.  I thought of doing that myself.

Ya, I responded to that months ago and seen that you sold it on another Charger forum site...  Oh well, still fighting over the coilovers and swar bars!! Too many options!!  After I get my suspension done its all albout SLP exhaust system or maybe Flowmaster...  I like the SLP but might be too loud, Flowmaster is almost perfect soiunding...   Otions are killing me!!  I can never decide.

Does anyone know if the exhaust manifolds from a 6.1ltr fit the 5.7ltr?  They are much cheaper than headers and they look like shorty style headers.

Hey guys, first time I've ever used this forum and am new to the Dodge Charger in general. We recently purchased an '06 R/T charger with the following mods: Mopar lowering kit, SRT hood and spoiler, 22" wheels, billet grille and lower insert, Mopar cold air intake, Borla exhaust, Borla aluminum headers, and the computer was also reprogrammed to accomodate the mods ( shift patterns and ?).
I'm curious as to how much power this car really has and what the next best mod might be.
Any input would be appreciated.

Ok... I just got my car dyno'd again.  I have installed the SRT8 shorty headers, removed the ccats, and the SRT8 cat-back.  I do plan on removing the cat-back but have not gotten around to it yet.

This sheet shows the difference between my car tuned with Superchips and tuned stock.  The red is the Superchips.

Now I am not as pleased with the results as I would like to be.  I only showed a gain of 6hp and the torque is almost exactly the same.  There is a lot of improvement in the mid range area.  It seems to be about 15lb.  Not bad but not as much as I would have liked.  I have raced a few Daytona's that were stock and they do not stand a chance.

Guess that shows that the stock 6.1 exhaust manifolds are much better than the ones on an 5.7.  Gezz you can smoke a stock 5.7, well I hope you no disapointed with that

Here are the before and after.  The red was taken on 12/15/2006 and was stock.  The red are with the mods I have now.

I wnet to Intec Racing in Kent.  Its off of 212th on the south side.  Hard to see from the road.  It is a import racing store but they are cool and some of them know a lot about Hemi's and these new ones.

I finaly got my exhaust done.  I went with 2 40 series Delta Flowmaster mufflers.  Sounds great when you start it and when you are wot!  Almost dead silent at idle.  Now I do get a little bit of drone when accelerating and when cruising on the freeway but it sounds soooooo goood.  And when I am hoping on the throtle I get looks from everyone around me.

So now my exhaust is SRT8 Shorty headers, SRT8 down-pipes (Cats cleared out) and stright back from the x-pipe with no resos at all.  I had them weld the SRT8 exhaust tips on and the car looks stock.  This really increased my throttle responce and took off two tenths of a second of my quarter miles time from the Superchips.  The best I had before was 14.39 and now was 14.10.  I will take my car to the track this spring and see what it does.

Where I live there are so many 300c's and one was trailling me at a light and I let him jump off the line before me and I sailed right past him...  Was beautiful...
