my cit has for know. nice to see owr tax many at work. better then a chevy i quess.
my dad dislikes chevy as much as i do but he says the best cop cars he ever drove were the caprices. power, room, and handled good for a big car. since they went to the impalas he has hated the chevy cop cars. fwd isnt good for police work he says. 2nd best were the crown vics. he loves the chargers but has driven a few when the dept. was thinking about switching to them and says that in power and handling they out perform the others but there isnt sufficient room for all the gear. sure it has a backseat but its not big enough to stuff a full grown man in there esspecially once you have the cage installed. plus he said that even though the charger had more power and better handling, in the city you dont really need that much power anyways. so his thoughts on it were basically for a pursuit car, the charger is probably the best because its the fastest and handles the best and the pursuit cars usually dont transport criminals. for regular cruisers the crown vic is the best right now. btw did they ever fix that little problem the crown vics had? ya know, the blowing up one?

my dept is doing a tag team reg patrol cars the 6 cyl models and the highway units the 5.7 hemis .the same thing was done when we had the caprice patrol got the 305 v8 and highway got the 350 .justifiable i guess but still would like a crack at the 5.7 .oh wait i have one well at least not untill thursday when i get my baby back [>:]
