Performance Questions - 12/13/2006 6:00:16 PM    kevinrt   Posts: 22 Joined: 12/12/2006 Status: offline Wuz up ya'll, My brother has a 00 mustang cobra w/ flowmaster exhaust. When he drives at normal speeds the "drone" comes in. I have heard that the JBA exhaust system has a lot of drone on the charger, so my question is what are the best systems to really HEAR it when you step on it, but chill when your cruising? My next question is what does a throttle body spacer do for your car. Their exhaust can tame anything but when you get on it they have a great sound. A TBS is designed to increase speed and volume of the air through the intake, it can also atomize the fuel more efficiently increasing HP and MPG. Read this thread post #4 on TBSs. So I guess it is any where from a 98 to to an 04. He is a big car guy not me. My GF test drove a 01 (I think that was the year) it was supercharged and drove w/an attitude. 400+ HP was too much HP for my GF. (in reply to kevinrt) Post #: 10

If he paid 28k for it used if I had to guess it was a 03-04 cobra with pretty low miles. Which only needs a intake, exhaust, slicks and they will run mid 12's all day long.
