car makes a dull wobbly sound and its louder in gear, its not a tick or thump it sounds like a bad bearing but it seems to be coming from the tranny, it clunks going into reverese, and it also shifts hard into the first few gears while driving, like it shifts hard 2 times and then its smooth, u hardly notice it shift after that, tranny is leaking but not from the pan, levels are ok, added some trans-x stop leak/slip seems to be louder now, tranny doesnt slip, car drives great aside from the noise and hard first 2 shifts, any advice is greatly appreciated

Have you ever changed the differential lube? How may miles on the car? How is the diff. oil level? I ask because on a normal RWD, a clunk in the rear end (differential) when the vehicle is put in reverse is usually a spider gear (I think that's the name). I'm not sure what the equivalent on this kind of drive system would be like, but I have a feeling your problem may be there. I think many people over look the differential on this car because of the way it's mounted.
Good luck
PS, I think the differential uses a special blended oil, I would buy it only from the dealer parts store, just in case.

i have had the car less than a week, but i just confirmed that the tranny was completely rebuilt and torque convertor was replaced in feb of this year and the car had 113k on it then now it has 124k. the guy who rebuilt it told me it prolly has a cracked or bent flexplate or loose torque convertor bolts which is causing the torque convertor to wobble and make the front seal leak just a little bit, or the torque conv is bad, in which case he said if i take it out he would see about getting the company he got it from to warranty it. he wont waranty his work since the original people sold me the car. so now i think i have it narrowed down to what it really might be. also theres a selinoid near thepassengerside corner of the rear firewall that goes click click constantly, not sure what its for, looks like it goes to vacum lines, maybe a purge selinoid like on hondas?? but it makes noise constanly, car seems to get 13mpg too!!!wtf!!! it runs great, i still got a few more miles to drive till the gas light comes on but it cant be no better than 16 by then
