Default Windshield wipers quit

2005 Quad cab windshield wipers quit, went wild then normal. They were on intermit then I switched to slow speed on, they quit. Then I switched to hi on they worked . They only worked on hi until I shut the truck off then restarted they worked normal. This has happened twice?????????????

Possibly a relay, or even the knob itself. I haven't had a chance to get into a gen3 dakota yet, but if the wiper switch is anything like the headlight switch in the gen2 dakotas, it could simply be a problem with the knob/switch that is activating them.

yeah sounds like an electrical problem..bring to a dodge dealer about it...might just need a new fuse or wiper motor...

Not to get off subject, but I had a problem with my high beams. It only happend once. I could not get the high beams on unless I held the switch in. Thay would not stay on until I shut the truck off and has not happened again now for about 3 weeks.
