$26K for my 07 SLT Quad Cab 4x4 V8 brand new.  It has the tow package, upgraded alternator and battery, transmission cooler, pearl coat paint, limited slip rear differential, ABS, supplemental air bags, 18" chrome wheels, sat radio, fog lights, overhead compass/therm/trip computer, spray-on bedliner, side steps, etc. etc.  Basically, I got every option you can add on to a Dakota except the GPS (you can get an after market one that's twice as good as the factory one for half the price).  I was going to get a loaded Laramie, but no dealer within 300 miles had one on their lot and I didn't want to wait to order one.

Also, the dealer pissed me off so I turned them into the Better Business Bureau and filled out their post sale survey in a very derogatory manner.  To "make it right" they sent me a check for $500 and a free service contract for all scheduled maintenance (they really want to keep their 5-star Dealership Rating).

Next truck will probably be a Ram 1500 (depends on how much I like that "radical redesign" they have planned for 2009).  Who knows.  I might be bored with trucks by then and go back to cars.

I did have a question.  I tore the hell out of the window sticker taking it off and so threw it away.  Is there someplace you can plug in your VIN and get a print out of everything installed on your vehicle?

In October I bought a 2006 QC with the 6 cylinder ST for 13000. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the SLT but I bet in 5-10 years my windows will still roll down, my seat will still be adjustable etc. It had 21000 miles on it and is like new. I think I got a hellava deal, What!

1995 Dakota SLT 4x4
5.2 V8 w/ 188,000 (at the time)
Newly Rebuilt Tranny
Tinted windows
Everything in the truck works, there is literally no problems in the interior.

I payed $900. So far I have dropped about $200 into it (water pump, brake calipers, and transfer case chain.)

The driver fender was mangled so they gave me a new fender, and an extra set of brand new Wrangler Rts tires.

Basically the only problems I have had with it are common or they are because of my own stupidity.

Just bought mine in Dec.....Dealer Certified 2002 Dakota SLT QC 4x4 fully loaded with only 43k miles and they added the Lifetime powertrain warranty through their dealership for $15k. I think I got a pretty damn good deal. This thing is awesome! Can't wait to lift her up and put some bigger feet on.

Just curious, why did the 2nd Gen. have 6 lugs and the 3rd Gen. have 5 lugs? I've been looking for a nice set of off road wheels and tires but not too many have 6 lugs.

We got our 2007 Dakota Quad Cab SLT 2wd 6cyl in Dec for $16000. from the dealership.  Although it has 19000 miles on it, they gave us the lifetime powertrain warranty.  Carfax report had no problems and our mechanic approved it.  We love it!  As for the deal, I think we got a good one!

Bought my 1999 SLT 3.9L new in December 1998 with 1 mile on it.  It now has over 120,000 miles.  Paid $17,000... took me about 3 years to pay it off.  Hope to have it for another 10 years...I'd like to see 250 or more miles on the odometer before I have to drive/tow it to the junk yard.

if you go here you can request a build sheet that will tell you everything you have on your truck. it took them really fast the one time i did it and then really slow the other time so just be patient after you send your request.

$1700.00. High miles but well taken care of. The 318 is pretty fast.

Hey Guys new to the forum and new to Dodge trucks. I think I got an ok deal, but I guess we'll see.
2003 Quad Cab SLT w/high mileage, but all freeway miles and owner had all service records to show
4.7
4X4
tinted glass
factory tow package
factory keyless entry
oil cooler, trans cooler
K&N filter w/flowmaster 1 into 2 exhaust
all recalls taken care of by Dodge dealer
all pwr, cd, fog lights
nerf bars
265/75-16 offroad 10-ply tires (just put on before I bought it)
I am sure I am forgetting something, any way listed for around $12,000 I paid 7 for it.
