Okay slightly on a tangent... I have a 2.5 turbo ('90 Daytona ES) First question was unrelated to this topic... when we were crawling around in the engine compartment we noticed the part number on the turbo had "T04" in it... my roomie noticed this, and I have yet to bend into the precarious position he was in to verify, but I'm wondering if these actually came with T04 turbos, or if there's a possibility that I have something aftermarket, or whatnot...
now onto the slightly more on topic question. The head. I already have a pretty high torque engine... but it seems to me the head is holding me back a great deal. Only 2 valves per cylinder, and with a turbo I have the potential to flow so much more air. I *HAVE* found a guide to put a 2.0/2.4 Neon or Stratus DOHC head on this block (
http://home.comcast.net/~ozspeed/) but was wondering if anybody knew of a better way, or a more bolt on approach to DOHC. If not an easier way, has anybody tried to put one of the variable valve timing heads that imports are using (honda's VTEC/iVTEC, toyota's VVTI, etc..) on the 2.5?
My other question was weather or not the 4G63T would fit, but the rest of the thread answered that question...
