Default Air seals for direction air flow past radiator

Are there one or two air seals on the sides of the radiator?

My Durango has a rubber boot air seal that covers the open space from the the radiator towards the headlight. On my Durango this rubber boot air seal is on the passenger side of the engine compartment only. Its purpose is to not let air get past this side of the radiator and directs the air flow properly. My question is, should there also be on of these rubber boot air seals on the dirver's side of the radiator?

Nope. Not as far as I remember. The passenger side has a larger opening than the drivers side.

I was wondering because the factory service manual says that "the air seals must be in place to ensure proper air flow to the radiator and air conditioning condenser". They used the word air "seals" (plural).

I wouldn't worry about it too much I never looked for one on the passenger side but it could be there... Next time I'm under the hood I'll take a look at it.
