Default full drag neon ***tube chassis***

i have not been on here in over a year i think, but, alot has changed from the "active" days on here.
when i first became a member of this site, i had just gotten my car, now, well.....

95 Dodge Neon, 2.0L, SOHC, Manual 3.94 gears, 4 Door

2004

this is what my 95 neon started life as all stock...ran 17.8 back then.

2005

started the appearance before the performance mods, aka "ricer"

EARLY 2006

started the performance mods which include tti short 4-1 header, mopar ecu, accel injectors, 8.5mm wires, removed a/c and power steering, hollow cat, S-AFC II, 60mm cherokee throttle body, port-matched intake, ported/polished head (exhaust side), #12 crane "turbo grind" cam, 3.0L caravan cold intake mod, and i am sure i am forgetting a few items.

MID 2006

took some of the appearance stuff off to make my car look like a true "ricer," car now runs 16.2

LATE 2006

in december, plans include the ordering of a HRC kit, ( http://www.hahnracecraft.com/auto/ne...neonstage1.htm ) along with an 04 srt-4 intercooler,
gutted interior, completely new front clip (bumper, fenders, hood), and a basic paint job of white to go with a somewhat stock appearance.

will update with pics of the turbo install and other stuff as time goes on.

soon to come as well.....

so, this is what is in store for the neon on the 4th of december....

HAHN RACECRAFT TURBO KIT = $2295.99
MSD DIS-2 Ignition System = $349.99 Tach adapter $64.99 (required for operation)
Innovate Motorsports Wide Band Air Fuel Meter = $349.99
MPx Under Drive Pulley = $109.99 High Quality Belts Included!
INTERCOOLER PIPING = ??
Quaife Limited Slip Differential = $1195.00<< comming mid '07

grand total = 3165.99 plus shipping.

should be fun!

going to clean the engine bay up and basicly just have the engine wire harness and engine/trans in there.

Sweet work!!!!!!! Looks like your going through a lot of stages in fixing up your Neon. I really like that header, looks like a quality product.
MAN WTF is that FG front clip about though?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Is this going to be a full race Neon in the end?

that pic of the front clip is from another forum that someone is selling. i am going to make one just like it but not be 900 bucks, lol. this neon will be a D/Driven monster when finished, hoping to be at, or close to 250whp and hoping for 12.7 @ 110 or so. on 7 psi and stock bottom end. while i race this motor and try to blow it up, i will be building another sohc block with forged goodies to withstand the 22psi i want to run through it in '08. i will be selling the tti shorty header, 19 lb accel injectors, and the mopar ecu here in about two weeks. all the parts have had only about 1200 miles on them within 1 year, maybe less. most of which was down the 1320. thanks for the comments guys/gals!

haha, i totally agree on that one! i was going to say, this is the first day in a looong time that someone has not mentioned "get a bumper" lmao, but, dangit anyways. haha. yeah, the no bumper thing makes it look bad, but, surprisingly, i got more flack for the evo bumper.

thanks for the WB btw.
