We're waiting until the mygig navigation system is available for order....I heard someone talking december or january until its an option you can order.....anyone hear anything about that yet???

My wife just bought a SLT 4x4 w/ the Mygig, But they said they haven't started to go into production yet. I guess there still working out some bugs. The dealership told us probably in March they will start with production.

Man, having to wait til march sucks. I really want to play around with the MyGig myself, I think the nitro has one of the best entertainment systems out there and by far better than any SUV or crossover. Does anything else come close to the 20 gigs worth of space the MyGig can hold?

here in canada (british columbia) I bought my nitro in december.... I asked about my gig, and the nav system, and they said It would still be a couple months, I didnt want to wait that long......and the nav system isnt that great i heard
Ill stick to my nav system on my PDA

True, but they were not mass producing them for sale. Crysler said the only thing that they offer right now is the hardware for the install of the MyGig. They did say the some of the new RT's comming off the line w/ the MyGig option will have it installed and the dealerships do have a very limited supply of MyGig's but are only to be used as a replacement for the one's that come in the RT's.(should they have any bugs) They said sometime around July they will be ready for install / purchase. (If it doesn't get pushed back AGAIN)

yea dude i build the nitro dashes and liberty dashes here in toledo and im tellin ya we been mass producing them ALOT lol yea the only hard ware you need is the satalite antenna mounted behind the passenger airbag door and thats it..... its an extremly nice unit for sure though id love to get one if i get a Nitro..

when i worked for a chrysler dealer we would send out radios for repair to unitedradio in upstate ny i called the other day and asked if he had anymy gig radios he laugh and said the have been waiting for there shipment from chrysler he told they will sell for around 1400 when he gets them

if i am not mistakin that is a non serius sat. radio one. because it doesnt have a chrome volume knob.
