The dash reminds me of what's in the Magnum/Charger, and the steering wheel of whats in the Caliber.

I just saw pics of the Avenger for the first time tonight on the web. Thought I was looking at an older Impala LS (before last year's body change). I know it's terrible to degrade a Dodge like that, but that was the first thing to come to my mind. Still a sharp car though.

I like, personaly the two things I would really change it to get right of the light gray, I hate how so many dodges are only avaliable with two toned interior where one is a really light color, I want dark grays or black, the other thing is that steering wheel, it's to big and bulky looking, i'd rather something closer to the Magnum's steering wheel.

I like the sebrings better, but I like the ext of the avenger better.

I also like it. Granted the Sebrings is nicer since it is a Chrysler, but for a Dodge this is good interior. It's a lot better than what it is replacing. nomagination, I don't see the Impala interior in it. It is a lot nicer than the Impala's.

the stratus was painful to sit in. a god damn civic from the 80s was probably more comfortable.

Very true, the Stratus is uncomfortable. I believe the new Avenger will be more comfortable.

It's a cheap interior, just look at the left airvent. Having said that, the interior sucks

I really wasn't commenting on the interior actually. I went to the Dodge website, saw the pics and thought I was looking at an Impala. As far as its interior goes, it seems like a lot of cars today....shades of gray. Nothing really impressive.

There is more to interior than an air vent and even that is down right petty. You don't like it, that is your loss.

nomagination, how can you possibly confuse an Avenger with the Impala. They look very different. As far as the interior looking gray, obviously people like gray. It is a matter of different people's taste.

When i first saw the front What came to mind was Caliber/Mailbu Maxx front end for some reason... I like the interior, its decent from the looks of it, who knows when i sit in one that may be different.....

Maybe if you're short. I would have a tough time getting comfortable in small a space. The Stratus wasn't that bad in my opinion. My mom had one the last few years I was in high school. I thought it was a blast to drive and it had room in it...plus the DOHC 4-cylinder was...peppy :)

I am long legged and 6'3". I drove an R/T today at a local dealer. It drove very well, road noise was minimal on an awful road and the 6 speed was very smooth. Definetly love this car. Now the waiting game begins... I can pay cash for an R/T but my insurance will be roughly 350 per/month. How do you like that? 19 years old with a clean driving record and that is the best I can do. Allstate is ripping me a new one.

Anyone have some suggestions for cheaper insurance? Thanks.

Anyways, not to be off-topic, there is plenty of room in this bad boy and with the seat lowered, there is plenty of head room aswell.

HA! Thats nothing. I wanted an SRT-4 but insurance would have been $470/month. Maybe it was those 3 speeding tickets...

I wasn't fond of it looking at the pictures but once I sat in one and drove it, I loved it. But then again I thought my Stratus was the most comfortable vehicle I had ever driven. I will be buying an Avenger in January 09 after my husband gets back from Korea and I can't wait.

I like it fair enough interface-wise. The cruise controllever is in a clumsy spot for turning (using the insides of the steering wheel). And that plastic ridge in the driver seat on enter/exit isn't friendly (left of your thigh when seated). Everything else seems adaptable enough for my taste. Oh, and watch your knees if you sit in the back and someone shuts the door for you.
