Default security feature

a few months ago i had to get my durango jumped by a tow truck driver, and i remember him saying somenthing about some security thing where it wont let the car start up if its activated or something along those lines.... wel today the car randomly wouldnt start again so i had to get AAA over to try and jump it and no luck with that, and this tow truck driver also mentioned something about the security thing, but didnt know exactly what to do about it, so if anyone knows any information on this security thing and whether it is true, ur input would be greatly appreciated

Default RE: security feature

The security thing is called a starter kill. I've tried to see if it would work on mine and it didn't. I don't think the D came with starter kill in 1998. With my truck going off I was able to start my truck anyway.[sm=dontgetit.gif][sm=feedback.gif]
