lifted offroad dakotas - 10/23/2006 1:04:11 AM    fenderbender   Posts: 23 Joined: 6/15/2006 Status: offline i have a 1997 dakota that i would like to make an offroading machine but still be able to use it as an everyday driver. i was just trying to get some pictures of other peoples dakotas so i could get some ideas. any pictues would be appreciated. Hopefully it will not be too dark outside but it has a lift with custom rear bummper and a bull bar in front with yellow and black stripes. I am not 100% on the torsion bars, but when I asked the previous owner he didn't even know what they were so.... I went from a 2wd 04' to this 4wd 99', and ride height has a huge difference. It looks even taller i think due to it being a single cab. Not that it is any higher, but since the truck is not as long it gives the optical illusion of being taller.
