i have a 1997 dakota that i would like to make an offroading machine but still be able to use it as an everyday driver. i was just trying to get some pictures of other peoples dakotas so i could get some ideas. any pictues would be appreciated.

Ok, so here goes my first post! I too, have a 97 dak. and am looking to lift it up, show me your pics as well........come on, i know you got em!

Here is a picture of my 97 dakota 3.9 with a 3in lift Fm 40 and 31x10.5x15 in the picture but it has 33's on it right now, and it is snowing in ohio so i awsnt going outside to take a pic of it lol



Those dates on the pics arent right either

I Have a 1997 too so once I get home ill post a picture too. Hopefully it will not be too dark outside but it has a lift with custom rear bummper and a bull bar in front with yellow and black stripes. Put a pick up soonhopefullly

Not lifted at all? Not even torsion bars cranked up?

Looks nice, looks high though! Sometimes I wish I had 4x4.

Thats right, no lift at all. I am not 100% on the torsion bars, but when I asked the previous owner he didn't even know what they were so....

I went from a 2wd 04' to this 4wd 99', and ride height has a huge difference. It looks even taller i think due to it being a single cab. Not that it is any higher, but since the truck is not as long it gives the optical illusion of being taller. Plus the 32's give it an inch or two.

dakotaman, i like the look of ur truck without the stickers. looks nice and clean. and am i seeing things or do u have a red pinstripe down the side??? lol if u do looks good if u dont it would look good lol.
