3rd row and car seats - 10/14/2006 6:12:28 PM    chargermom   Posts: 1 Joined: 10/14/2006 Status: offline My husband and I are considering buying a durango. However, what experiences have people had with the 3rd row and car seats. I was told once that the 3rd row is only a half seat (shorter) and that car seats do not fit properly. Is the 3rd row a full size seat in the redesign of the durango? Just curious what people know. Thanks! Post #: 1

I have used full size and the booster seats in my 3rd row without any problems on my 1st generation Durango. The 3rd row is very small, i most of the time lay down across it whenever im not driving. (in reply to wagmc) Post #: 5

(hence I bought one after they sold theres) and I sat in the third seat on a road trip (6'00'' 230 pounds I'm not the smalest guy).. its wasnt the best trip but do able.. for sure the third row is no prob for kids. my neices and nephiews love sittig there.. make sure to have the rear air though for that third seat cause it could get a little hot back there in the summer :-)..  _____________________________ 2000 SLT+ 5.9 custome intake no good TB spacer :-) 3inch flow master exhaust 160 t-stat 10" Rockford Fosgate sub 300 wat amp (in reply to DodgeD98) Post #: 6
