I owned my first Dakota at 23....and bought my 2nd at 24....and had it until I was almost 26. They were great trucks. I bought my first Dakota back in '93; it was a red '97 CC 4x4 3.7, and I loved it, but I traded it. Now I own a blue '02 QC 4x4 4.7, and I love it too. Wont have any other brand. My first Dak my parents bought me in High School was a 1994 Dak V6. I had a lot of fun in that truck. The V6 in that truck seemed more powerful than the one I have not (not that the V6 in my 06 is weak) but the 94 model was a single cab and weighed a lot less. I outran lots of other vehicles in that Dak! Now I am older and wiser and wouldn't do something like that (well, not while my kids and wife were in the truck anyway, lol, just joking). I have just purchased my 2006 QC Dak, V6. I love the Dakota's.
