RE: dodge emblems - 10/5/2006 6:05:30 PM    Johndcjr1989   Posts: 1630 Joined: 4/4/2006 Status: offline take it to a paint/body shop and get them to debadge it and then powder coat them black and put them back on. actually i would take it to the dealer and get them to do this now that i think about it. they would know the proper way to debadge and would be able to put them back on in the correct spots but if you took it to a shop they might not be as familiar with where they are supposed to be and put them on wrong. or you could just debadge it and keep em off for a nice clean look. that would look better IMO because you wouldnt be able to see the black emblems on a black car anyways. when you get your car finished post up a pic of it. sounds like you have a nice idea. These "new" badges are plastic, would you end up wth a lump power coated? Obviously I don't know enough about power coating so bear with my ignorance on this one.
