Robert, I know I asked you this in P.S.com. but I have some new information. I'm told the 97 and up linkage is the same on the throttle body. Yours should have the tang on the out side for the foot feed, and a plastic guide on the inside for the kickdown cable(?) It looks like a teardrop. If thats it, and there's no corrosion. I'll take it. thanks.
If its a early 96 and older the linkage is different. Hughes engines shows a picture of all three on thier web site.

Sure, I can pull 8,000 lbs 1100 miles...and then spent 1900 bucks on a new tranny. So go for it!

This throttle body is off of a '97. It is the same thing that is on my '01.
