Onto the pics ... first should be with the old rims, 2nd the new rims, and finally my pot handle
Nice pot handle there Donny... is that a Farberware handle? <jk> I would have never thought to use a pot handle for the tonneau cover... the strap seems to work good once your past the shock resistance.
Jacob, which filter do you have on the AFE? is it the pro-guard or the original setup?

Maybe I have an older cover, but the only way to lift it was to lift it by the twist and turn lock that is on the TOP of the cover. It really was a pain in the butt to open the cover, especially since it's an 8 foot cover and weighs a ton. I added the pot handle so that I had something to push up on while twisting the lock. Works 10000 times better now. It took me a while to find just the right thing for the job, but I think I succeded with the pot handle. Kinda looks like it belongs ther huh? Other's who have the same cover are kinda surprised and dig my mod.
Got the pro guard, I'm also lookin to replace the stock air to air tubes with polished stainless ones. Not sure if its worth the $$$'s for somethin you only see when the hood is open. They sure look nice though.
