Saleen intro'd it in January. Some have been sold already. But I wouldn't call it a Lightning replacement. The supercharged truck will be somewhere in the $40-45,000 range. Maybe even higher. You could buy a supercharged Lightning for the low 30's even 28-29,000 at times, brand new. A supercharged Harley F-150 SuperCrew was in the mid to low 30's.

The high price problably because you get the name and rep of having "Saleen" that modded the truck. I remember the saleen stangs were very expensive and problably still are.

Amazing, 2 years later and they are still underpowered. Wow Ford is Stupid...

Lightining for 30K? I wouldnt pay 10K for the old F150 POS, I can get an 05 SRT-10 QC for almost 30K, thats simply a no brainer.

My neighbors bro-in-law is a big-wig at Ford and said since the Lightning was an SVT; the Lightning will be no-longer made. He said Saleens S331 will be the new replacement.

Well that would be true since the Lightning hasn't been produced since the 2004 model year. Ford stopped making it because they changed the body style and couldn't get an updated version to pass crash testing.

Whattya mean by "soon?" There is no such thing as a 2007 Ram SRT-10.
