Default Leaking Oil

Got quite a gusher under the 86 Daytona. Have narrowed it down to an area near the right axle output drive shaft. Either the speedo or the shaft seal. Being lazy thought I would ask a couple questions before I tore it apart. I replaced the drive shaft seal a couple weeks ago when I replaced the engine. I did not drive the car until a few days ago. When I did I find a large puddle. Narrowed it down to the transmission output, I think. The question I have is this. Has anyone seen oil leaking past the speed sensor? I loose about a 1/3 cup of ail everytime I park it. I suspect the leak is at the speed sensor since I replaced the drive shaft seal. I coulda damaged the seal when I replaced it but I doubt it. Any help? Did not find anything archived that would help.

Default RE: Leaking Oil

Did you remove the speed distance sensor? If you did was the O-ring seal in good condition around the sensor?
