i boguht the whole shot, CV shafts, clutch, flywheel, evrything from a junk yard for $500, it all came out of a 98 r/t, except i didnt get the PCM, im still running the automatic PCM in mine, i hooked the neutral safety switch wire to the pedal switch and grounded the other side so it start only with the clutch in and has a 6750 rev limit when the clutch it out, when you bang gears it kills the motor for you when you hit the clutch if its above 5500, only problem i have with that is the idle speed goes up or down if the pedal is in or out

and i also didnt use the bobble strut, its just hard on the front motor mount
and the clutch i got with mine is the modular clutch that uses the automatic flex plate , the clutch assembly is all one piece and seems to hold up alot better than the traditional style

you will also need the shifter base and transmission mount
a price for the trans is difficult to say, depends where you get it, what year its outta, miles......it is a little difficlut to come by a trans from an r/t....but either way a SOHC and DOHC trans will work....but it depends on what gearing you want....the DOHC trans can take some good abuse.....
there is also a trans-motor brace that would be good to get....SOHC usually has one brace on the back of the motor and a DOHC usually has the back brace and a brace plate on the underside of the motor.....
and depending what year the trans comes from, you might need to get a new speed sensor
the DOHC trans had a 3.94 final, the SOHC trans had a 3.55 final, there were 2 different DOHC manuals, one having a reverse brake and a higher ratio on 5th gear for gas mileage, that 98 r/t trans has been through a ****load of abuse & been perfect for me, i beat that car with no remorse on the race track
and on the speed sensor note, if theyre a different plug they have the same color of wires still, hopefully you get the plug from the donor car- wire them in - match the colors, works just fine

just a thought here.....
why would the r/t's be better for highway mailage if the 5th gear revs higher????
the sohc trans i once had in my old car gave me alot better gas milage then the r/t trans did...5th gear on the sohc trans runs about 500rpms lower then the dohc trans does
