What software are you running? - 9/8/2006 9:23:59 PM    khurst   Posts: 32 Joined: 7/11/2006 Status: offline All, Called the dealership today B/C I am sick of the throttle responce delay. Since my wife is the primary driver (even she has noticed the 2-3 secound delay) and it almost caused her to have an accident the other day; it has now become a safety concern rather than an inconvienence. After speaking with the service department they eventualy admited that they are receiving allot of calls about the same problem and it crosses models including the magnum, 300 and Charger. They did admit that my software may need to be updated. That said, I was wondering what software every one else with an R/T is running (are they pulling the wool over my eyes or does the software really make a differance?). Instructions for display below: Press and hold the Compass and music note button on steering wheel for 6 secounds (with key on) Toggle through the diagnostic info using the up and down arrows untill you come to the software version screen. RE: What software are you running? - 5/11/2007 12:57:17 AM    morfoot   Posts: 62 Joined: 1/7/2007 Status: offline I know that this post is several months old, but I'm running software 02/01/06 v 4.11 pn 04843155AH.  I called the dealership yesterday (one of the many that are in the area) and the guy I talked to had no clue on if you could update the software or not.  Has anyone figured out if you could update it or not?  If so PLEASE let me know. "Do you need one?" is the question.  I haven't keep up with the updates, but since I'm nearing the end of factory warraty I'll be hitting the dealer up soon for updates. I'll dig around and see if theres a current list of the software by date of release.  Remember component change as cars roll off the assembly line, don't expect an update just because one was released, it may not pertain to your cars components. I wish DCX would give us an easy to read "update matrix" for updates so we know what actually pertains to the car you have. (in reply to morfoot) Post #: 6
