Hey I started noticing when I start my vehicle up the airbag light flashes and the chime goes off. It is the picture in the right hand corner of the dash of a seat with a seat belt and circle in it. I dont know if this is a normal chime or not. It might be trying to tell me it is disabled. Have any of you noticed it before? Is it normal? If it is disabled how to you enable it??

You don't weigh enough to trip the seat belt sensors... [;)]

I'd take it to a dealer and have them check it out... while it's under warranty.

Otherwise, I don't know what to say...

This only happened to me once, I dropped my bro to pickup sth from the gas station and after he left the car the airbag light was on and went off the moment he came back and sat down on the seat.. This is a new tech. that will save the car dealers $$ because only the driver's airbag is enabled if he's the only one in the car when he goes into an accident...

Anyways If the light is on it means the airbags are disabled its hard to determine which one isnt working :)

I changed my seats and got the air bag warning.  I had them recalibrate it and that fixed it. Since I changed the seats it was not under warranty...  $155.
