I havent done much research on the mopar pcm upgrades, but when i first started posting messages on here everyone led me towards the xmetal or dcperformance pcm upgrades.
It may be worth it for the QC, especially in areas where you can only get 91 octane. If you are in a state that has 93, then stage II is the only way to go

Thanks for the response. I am unable to get in touch with anybody at X-metal or DC performance and I can find absolutely no information on what kind of HP gains I would get from the mopar stage 1 PCM. I even called several Dodge dealers and none of them said they could even get it!! Not having much luck with the whole PCM upgrade thing!!!!
i contacted mopar they said the stage 2 ecm with the mopar cam and exhaust dyno at 70 hp but they have no idea of hp gains with just the
ecm. I can tell you from my personl experience that I like the mopar stage 2 with my rc 05. I changed it out with 6000 on my truck and it raised the rev limiter to about 6200 and it feels like I have a lot more low end. But it could just be my gains were apparante because my stock ecm was holding my truck back for break in purposes until 8000 miles. I only paid 217.00 for my computer so not really a big investment.
