What part of the exhaust, besides the headers, are you planning to spray? What spray did you get?

KO, thanks for the information.

I'm no expert in the relm your venturing into. I can understand doing the headers and any exhaust pipe within the engine compartment. That's where the heat is going to get trapped and slow you down (heat soaking).

Not sure what benifit there would be from coating the Cats/midpipe/x-pipe/suitecase(s)/handbag(s). That's where I'm at a loss. Would you want to keep heat in those areas that are outside the engine compartment or would you want to disperse the heat there. I must qualify that my CATs are not in the engine compartment... LT headers take them out of there.

WELL IM THEORIZING THAT BASED ON WHAT WA1S BEING SAID ON THAT SHOW THAT BY KEEPING THE HEAT IN THE PIPES LIKE THE HEADERS COATED BY CERAMICS WHEN THE GASES COME OUT THEY HEAT UP AND AND EXPELL FASTER SO I WAS THINK THAT BY THE TIME THE GASES ARRIVE IN THE MIDPIPES AND DOWN THE REMAING PARTS OF THE EXAUST THEY START TO COOL DOWN (ESPECIALLY THE FASTER YOU GO LIKE SAY 135 ) SO BY COATING THEM THEY REMAIN HOT INTERNALLY ANYWAYS AND SHOULD MOVE QUICKER INCREASING PERFORMANCE ,AND I WAS ALSO THINKING SINCE THE UNDER EXAUST IS RIGHT UNDER THE CAR DURING STOP AND GO TRAFFIC LOTS OF IT HERE IN NYC THE PIPES HEAT UP THE METAL BODY MAKING INTERIOR WARMER AND WHEN ITS ALREADY 100 DEGREES OUTSIDE THE LAST THING YOU WANT CAUSEING DISCOMFORT IS YOUR OWN EXAUST.AGAIN ITS JUST A THEORY OF MINE.

Sounds like it's worth a try. Cheaper than bigger pipes and heat shields.

Way too cool umm... no... HOT, anyway that stuff will take up to 2000 degrees. It shouldn't hurt anything and results will be interesting to read about.

Don't tell us what color you went with (Black, Aluminum or Copper) and we can start a pool on what your color choice was
