Hi All,

I'm having a serious jones for new rims on the TB. I don't like the fact that other than a little bit of black paint, they are the same as every RT out there. I figure a '1 of 4000' should have had a distinctive rim like the SRT's. I'm really thinking going something failry retro. What I would really like is the old Cragar SS but they don't make it in the size and or offset for the Charger. What do you all think of this one? I will be sticking with the 18's as I like the size ratio compared to the car and the sidewall height is just right for ride comfort as far as I'm concerned.

Hopefully that worked.

Those Cragars would be kick booty!

I've been eyeing some wheels w/black spokes and a chrome lip. I'm w/you and want to keep the wheels to 18" or possibly 19". These ASA's would be good for me if they had the right size.

Those are real nice Mango. The problem I've run into is that our cars use a FWD offset since the chassis is offered in AWD. It seriously limits the choice of rims.

I have been doing some searching as well. What do you think about staggering the wheel sizes to rake the car? 20's in the back and 19's in the front?

Although the black goes well with the car I think it gives it an import look. Just my opinion.

I've been waffling on the black thing since day one. I think black would blend well with the OEM setup… black grill/rear spoiler/front chin. On the flip since that may be too much black and give it a dark look were the wheel details would be washed out.

Your right baldyloxs Cragar does make those 610s in 18x7.5 and 18x9. I posted a question to them about local dealers here in TX.

I’ve also been eyeing the cragars. They would give it a kick a$$ look that cries out to an old schooler like me. Too bad tire rack doesn’t carry these; I would like to see a picture of them on the car. If things get serious it would be time to PHOTOSHOP-em.

Check out foose wheels he has some really nice designs.

I really think the Charger is meant for 20 or 22 inch rims. The wheel wells are so large.

Check out these bad boyz

What does that mean when you say the car has a forward offset? What do you have to look for when choosing rims?

I totally agree with you on the rivits thing.

If you buy online I have noticed they MOST charge a re -stocking fee if you return them.

Those look good!! I put SRT 8 wheels on mine. However, the suspension is different from and SRT 8 and an R/T. You have check the clearance of the wheels.

What about staggering the rims 19 in front and 20s in back? Basically give it a hot rod rake?

Do you have a pic to share?

What happened since the suspensions are different?

I have heard the SRT do not have the load leveling option which makes the Daytonas stiffer which improves handling.
