Well it came in today, as soon as I got back from my job, I went to work on the intake. Unfortunately when I was halfway through, my minitor (fire pager) went off, so I sorta stopped half way through and took my sisters car. Anyways enough of my story.
The intake first of all looks NICE NICE. It has a metal tube, and a rubber fitting connecting to the throttle body so it can go with the engine torsions* is that the right word?* anyways so the intake will twist along with the engine. It sounds nice, and maybe its mental or something, but I feel like the throttle response from it is touchy. Excellent intake, Oh also its a dry filter, no oil is needed. Heres some pics, I appologize for the size.

sweet looking. i went with the k/n fipk. does the same job but only black, less polishing to do. now take your iat sensor that sits in the intake near the tb and relocate farther down the tube. this sensor is what determends the temp of the air going into intake. by relocating it closer to the filter the sensior will pick up cooler air adjusting your air/fuel mixture for better responce. instaed of wear you have it now it picks up the hot air coming of of the engine
