Default Problem with my dodge.

recently i have problem with my dodge intrepid. The speedometer doesn't work, it doesn't change gears (looks like i'm always on the 2nd one) and the power is like cut on the half... I have no idea what could it be... Maybe something with sensor... i hope it's not transmission. Please help.

Default RE: Problem with my dodge.

Since you don't have a speedo - I would blame the output sensor on the trans.

Since the computer does not see an output from the trans. it will default to "limp-in mode" which holds the trans. in 2nd gear.
It also sets other sensors to default positions, so you lose engine power.

one more question, where this senosor is located? and you think amatour can change it? or should I go straight to service and forget about fixing this by myself?
