You guessed right, Jules' Top Banana...Snap, Crackle and Popped the fuse and shorted out the Computer...I replaced the radio fuse and aparently shorted out the computer. 2 days later service department hooked me up and got me running. I personally have nothing but GREAT things to say about my local dealership...(74scamp..are we allowed to mention our dealerships name??)..The service manager asked me (off to the side) if I hooked a programmer up to it??Oh no not me...I dont know what your talking about...He said" Jules, I know you and your driving habits"..I dont know what your talking about....I then asked hypathetically could it have anything to do with what happened? His response was "no but I would like to hypathetically drive it if you do decide to hook one up and see how it drives..." I stopped by the local liquor store on the way to pick my TB up and bought him a 5th of Patron Silver tequila for all his efforts....Recommend everyone liquor up their service managers for the extra mile they go when they dont have too. Thanks for everybodies help and input...I hope all of you could learn from this post...The radio fuse blowing then pulling all the fuses one at a time to check for good CAN kill the computer.. Why it does it is a different story...Will it do it..If your name is Jules and you skip church on a Sunday to install and amp..YES... Everything seems to ok so far...I am anxiously awaiting to put my CAI on it. I ordered it thru a dealership and my buddy said it will be in sometime next week. I was noticing on another thread one guy had a whistling noise...I want to make sure I dont run into the same. Problem... I checked DCX service records (my sister works for DCX) and didn't show they charged Chrysler any warranty charges for fixing the car. I dont know what is up with that. I was hoping they entered some info that I could pass on to everyone else. No such luck... I mentioned that mine whistled, but I put a throttle body spacer in and it is doing the "whistling" when it's working. As a side note - when I took the car to the Ford dealer where my son works and they put it on the alignment machine, the tech afterwards asked me what size pulley I was running on the supercharger. He was very, very impressed with the power of my R/T. I told him it wasn't a supercharger, but the throttle body spacer . dave (in reply to dodgegirl67) Post #: 40
