I hope this doesn't have anything to do with your putting "FORD RED" on the TB's calipers. kOnO

Jules, This may be too little too late but did you try plugging your SC tuner back in? Possibly going back to stock in case you happened to scrog some data? The SC Tuner has the capability of going back to stock. I think I would have tried that before towing.

It's Monday morning and I am at work. NO not in the TB. Still being towed to the dealership. Zedd...Yes I went back to stock in case that was the problem. Besides that since its going back to the dealership I wanted to send it back there stock. I talked to the service manager to let him know its coming in and he said he will it was probably the computer. DUHH..he said he would reporgram the computer. Now my question is will the SC recognize this as my stock and still work? It is not the original stock program anymore. Jules

Poor TB... needs TLC. If you went back to stock then you will be fine, the SC should program w/o any problem.

What does everyone think about this: once Jules gets the car back should she treat this like it's the first time the SC was plugged in and read the stock flash onto the tuner?

I think these new cars are too smart to be any good! My friend just bought an 06 Magnum and it has so many plugs wires and shit on it, it's scary. I'm not impressed with cars I can not work on myself. What's the fun of a muscle car if it's such a wuss it poops out when you change a fuse? Any hoop... Sometimes the factory security system turns on on them and won't let the engine run. Just a thought.

I believe there are many of us that would be happy with a carb and points, tune the thing by ear or w/timing light. Ah the good old days are just that, now we have to deal w/HAL LOL

Ladydurango, Adjusting carbs by vacuum, timing by ear, and points with a matchbook cover -- I'm GLAD those days are over. Now, instead of a spark plug lasting maybe 1,000 miles racing, they last almost 100,000 miles -- no points -- no carb -- no distributor -- boy, what not to love about today's cars. And, mine is just as fast as my old muscle car and gets twice the mileage and has A/C. If you want to spend your time under the hood, go ahead -- me, I want to drive...
