Default Will my 3.9 L v6 pull my boat?

Hi I am a new timer here and this is my first post and it deffinitly isnt the last for a long time .

I was wondering, I just bought a 98 Dodge Dakota that has a 3.9 L V6. Now, my question is will this thing pull my boat? The boat is a 97' 17 and a half ft. boat. It is a Alumacraft boat and it has a double hull with a 60 hp outboard Mercury engine. I dont know the exact weight of the boat but it can hold about 5 people is what it is rated for and I forgot what it said for the weight of the boat (the boat is far away from me right now). Alright well thats all I have for now, thanks in advance.

Just make sure your boat trailer has brakes and you'll be fine. You may want to add a tranny oil cooler though. What gears do you have?

Before I got my Dakota a buddy of mine had a 2001 Dakota and towed my full size bronco on a car trailer with no problems for about 60 miles and a lot of hills
I would assume that is weighs more
I have been towing a large popup camper with no problems just a little power lost on the long gradated hills
I have a 5 speed
