I have a Volant CAI for an '05 Magnum R/T that I never installed. I have since traded in the Magnum for a Charger Daytona R/T and was wondering if the Volant I have will fit.
Any one know off the top of their head if the intakes between the Charger and Magnum are the same or reasonably close?

G - I would think they would be pretty darned close. Perhaps you could kind of layout or mockup the new intake over the original and see if things seem to line up. Maybe you could go online and check and see what the fitment for the new one is, i.e., 05 and up Magnum/Charger, or 06 and up Magnum/Charger, etc.

EDIT: OK, I just checked on my CAI. It is a MP unit, but, unfortunately, it says 05-06 Charger - "Note: Fits R/T only". I don't know what the difference in the R/T - Daytona would be, though. Sorry, I wasn't much help. Maybe a call to the dealer can answer your concerns.

The only thing that could be different would maybe be the box size or box brackets, seeing that the K&N's are the same . The Std. R/T charger and Daytona are the same. Not from the factory but they are on the aftermarket. The Volant cai may just work with a few mods. Below is the k&n app. Just my .02
