Air Conditioner Problem
Hi'
My air conditioner blows hot air so I was going to recharge the freon. I first thought I would check to make sure the condensor kicks on, but don't know how. When I switch the A/C on, there is no engine noise and no noticeable change in the engine. Is this indicative that the condenser is not turning on, and if so, how do I check the switches. |
RE: Air Conditioner Problem
If your car had a/c and it was slightly cold i say recharge it.But to me it sounds like you got a evaporator gone bad.The evaporator is under the dash and its not a cheap job.My folks had the same problem on thier 94 eagle vision 4 years ago and it costed them around 700.00 to fix it.Best bet to take it to a a/c shop and have them do a leak test and go from there..
