ok I found out what was making my durango miss after i got in the mud was my coil and dis. cap gett wet well i took my coil off and relocated it up higher and about my fender well and also electictaped it all up good because it had cracks all in it, im going to replace it when i get the money. and i also took my dis. cap off and could not find any cracks of any kinda in it, so i put them all back on and cranked it up and got my water hose and put water over the coil and didnt act up to i fixed that problem but i put it on my dis. cap and it still does it its still the same dis. cap and wires from the dealer so i expect it need new wires and cap with 145,000 miles on it, my ? is what do yall think i should do and get to go along with this and what kinda wires and coils and dis. cap cause i got muddn alot and i get tired of having to stop and let all of that **** get dry or what ever, so any tips are needs guys thatnks alot.

First tip, easy into the water then gun it through. Plowing into a water hole is not good in any way.

I agree with 28This.

I put some part numbers on the site for a good ignition system. You should replace your wires at about 60k and also your cap and rotor. I like to replace my plugs every 15K.

thats not a bad deal at all im also thinking about foaming around the dis.cap too to seal it off i would sylicone it but its to tight of a fit ya know lol.
