Default 2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

The next Mercedes compact entry luxury sedan adopts cues—and a 6.2-liter V-8—from its richer siblings.

Our spies have spotted the next C-class. Unlike other prototypes, this test mule sports immense wheels, quad exhaust pipes, and a mesh grille. Sources indicate this is the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. The C63 will adopt AMG's new 503-hp naturally aspirated V-8 engine. The less powerful C350, C280, and C230 will share most of this AMG's sheetmetal.

Default RE: 2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

Looks like M-B is finally getting serious about beating BMW' offerings. The next M3 is supposed to be V-8. The 63 motor was supposed to have the highest hp/litre of any V-8 made. I don't know if that is still true.
