I have an '03 Quad Cab.
I recently wired it for a trailer. No issues.

I bought the class 3 hitch for it from a local retailer (Canadian Tire)

Everything looks as though it will fit, but as soon as I get it into place it is hitting a bar under the bumper.
I believe that this is the rubber mount for the bumper itself.

Does anyone know if this should be removed to allow for the install(it is held on by two bolts).

It actually just hits at what I am calling the bell housing for the rubber mount, so I could cut a piece out of that.

Anyone know what this rubber mounted bar is/does and can it be removed or modified to allow for the hitch?

Could you get a picture of the bar? AFAIK theres no rubber mounting for bumpers on ay dodge trucks. When I put the hitch on my dakota, I had to support the bumper since the hitch used all teh same holes as teh bumper.
