Actually I used the term bog but what I was describing was the ESP clamping down to stop wheelspin on the shift. I've noticed that under normal operation, esp on, when it activates the indicator on the dash comes on so I was sure what was happening. So far I still can't be sure about my ABS. I haven't been able to get my brakes to lock up even with the abs light on but it is a heavy car with good tires so who knows. Maybe I'll get some rain one of these days out here in sunny CA.

As for the spacer helping your flat spot, I have no idea. I think I felt a difference when I installed mine and if nothing else it sounds cool.

Correct. When you disengage "active ESP" you still have some computer modulation at about the 20% level. Meaning that you an still make those awesome burnouts, just can't hang 'em for two gears (like my Mustang GT 5-sp).

My guess is ABS needs to come on cause it is a part of the ESP safety package.

Zedd,

Coming up and a month, how about an update. Any issues, Torque twist or load issues on the posi?

To be honest, I don't use it much. It does indeed work and is a lot of fun but my main goal was that I hated the fact I couldn't turn Hal off. Now that I can, I don't find myself doing it often. I still think it is too expensive. If I was unscrupulous I could tell you all which wire to cut a switch into and you could do it for $30. I just can't do that due to the amount of times people have copied my electrical control designs in the industrial world.

I just installed it in my SRT-8 and YES it does make a difference with the 1st to 2nd shift. I still hate the lame long shifts that the tranny makes. But I guess without the bypass, the car won't shut down 100% traction control. I nailed it and when it shifted from 1st to 2nd there was no interferance. It was a clean shift that I am sure would put me at least a half a car length ahead of the same car without it. But what a waste, I feel like posting the intructions on a website because that is what you are paying 200$ for. The rest of the cost is the cheap hardware. I won't feel so robbed if a few others can benefit from it because it does make the car faster.
P.S. No A.B.S. light, everything else is fine.

Zedd, how about if I Paypal you $35 or whatever reasonable, and you email me the instructions?

I think you are right about the not using it much, and the cost is way high.

Thanks for the update.
