Don't see why it wouldn't work. If they will be seen maybe put some black cloth over them.

Well, what is the purpose of them? I mean, if I built my box around it, but didnt have any way for air to get in, would that be fine? Like I would still have the 2 - 2.5 ft^3 around the vents, would that be fine? Or do I need to have the vents vent into the cabin?

lookin good, try taking a look on my cardomain at Divyne's dakota clubcab, and his amp/sub setup in the back, you could probably get a few pointers from him.

If I ever install a sub it'll be underneath the back left seat, which is where I think my 300w amp that came with the truck is located at. I might want to get another one just for a sub :P

OK, so I want to take off my rear headrests like you did. I can get the bottom of the back panel free, but can't seem to get the top off. I also don't want to break anything so I can put the back panel back on. A little help is needed.

I removed mine. I did not take off the back panel. Shine a light around the top edge of the panel and you will see the plastic push pins. I believe there was four of them, pull these loose. If you damage them you will have to get new ones. I used and open end wench from the top side of the panel to remove the hex head bolts.

Is there a tool or something u used to get the pins out. I don't just want to pull really hard and break them.

I use a long needle nose pliers with a long handle, but there are other tools out there, maybe a long flat bar or the tool the dealer would use for removal. The pins are firmly fasten inplace. good luck

Okay to be correct. I looked up the correct tool the service manual recommends for removal of the back panel. It is a TRIM STICK C-4755
