So if I wait a few month until the 2005 start to come out then I can get a good deal on one? I am kind of picky on what I want but a lot of the parts I want are Mopar so the dealer would install them not the factory. Correct me on that if I am wrong.

The closer you wait the price will come down, but the selection won't be as good. We stop building the 04 in about two weeks. So if you can find one you want snap it up. Plus if you happen to know an chry emp, they can give you their discount for a limited time.

I test drove a Reg Cab Hemi yesturday and it was nice. Around town it wasn't bad but on the highway after 3500 rpm it took off. I am going to be test driving a few more trucks/SUVs before I make my final choice. I love the Ram but I don't know about its stopping ability and how it handles in turns (I am not racing in turns, just normal driving in turns won't be the best, I am guessing). If you have anything to add to help me out, I would appreciate it.

Thanks, I know they look good but how about stopping and cornering? If I add some better brakes and lower the truck a little will it help at all? I am thinking of just getting the stock 17" wheels with the 3.92 axel ration and buy aftermarket rims. So when I get the rims I can add the brakes and lower and hopefully the braking and cornering will improve. No????

h22lude: Why not get a Dodge Magnum wagon. HEMI power, awesome looks, lowered, room for 5+cargo. I'm sure it corners and stops better too! Just a thought. X

I thought about it but I like the big truck. I am not really too concered about the cornering it is more the braking. As long as I can get the truck to stop pretty quick just incase then it should be fine.

What is the Hemi Sport? I know it is a QC with the accents and SRT-10 hood with the obvious Hemi. It that it's own model or do you buy a Laramie with the Hemi Sport package? Whats the price difference between the Hemi Sport and Laramie J package RC?

Not sure about most of that but, I do know that the hood is phony. It is a fake scoop stuck on a stock hood. The SRT-10 hood is functional. I would get a laramie with the sport and add the goodies you want. My .02. X

I 'tested' my stoppability the other day had a trailer with a 8,000 lb tractor on it, 4-wheeler in the bed, and the backseat full of my mom's crap and was rolling up to a redlight doing a little over 20 when 2 girls stepped out into my lane from in front of an 18-wheeler my front bumper was even with the back of the 18-wheeler cab and I stopped before the front bumper of the 18-wheeler with all that load I thought the guy in the rice burner behind me was gonna eat that tractor

Oh you mean instead of getting the hemi sport, order a QC laramie with the sports package and then get the mopar accent package and the srt-10 hood? What is the comestic difference between a Laramie RC with sports package and Mopar accents and SRT-10? It looks like the front is difference, the rims and the spoiler. Anything I am missing?
