Default Replacing Front Bumper

Hey guys, my front bumper (chrome) has a dent right in the center. I'll be going to pick-up a replacement bumper tomorrow. Anybody know how to remove / install these things?</P>

I know its a pain...and chances are you will never have that factory line again

there are 2 brakets, one on either side by the wheel wells, and two places in the middle that it bolts to.

you are going to want to disconnect the battery, I think the air bag sensors are in the area...pluss you will have to remove the horn (mounted on the drivers side bumper braket) and the driving lights (if equiped).

Amanda...an I missing anything??

Hehehe... no.. you are right on. Both James ([)oclgefre4k) and I have had our front bumpers tweaked... it's NOT fun. LOL!

I HIGHLY recommend using one or two friends to help... I just posted this somewhere... let me find it...

There should be visible bolts that are holding the bumper on, those need to be loosened and adjusted...
There.... that's my advice... LOL!

Hope we helped!! James and I have had a tough time learning about our bumpers recently. LOL!

Hi Nick, I mounted a bodylift one year ago,so the only thing IŽd to o, was to relocate the original bumper. It was hell,so if you want to have the same equal space-line like stock/oembetween your bumper and the front you can widen up the holes in the brackets just a little bit (4millimeter).It will gives you the ability to mount it real perfect. After doing this please lube the bolts and nuts with Loctite and lock them hard,to secure them.
