Zedd, as a test, someone said that if you pull the #17 fuse, that will all but totally disable the ESP. But - WARNING!!!! it will also disable the ABS! So, if you try it, only do it as a short test, then put the fuse back in. If it won't spin the tires with that fuse out, then there is something else going on that we don't know about. I haven't done it myself - haven't had too. Also, how do you drive your car? If your "pussy footing" it, that may be part of it. These cars have transmissions that "learn" how you drive. Make it work, i.e., drive it a bit harder, and it will "work" for you. Zedd, another thought I just had, when you put your exhaust system on (you didn't say what kind you have - or I missed that somewhere), did you disconnect your battery? I have the Magnaflow full cat back system and the instructions specifically said to disconnect the battery during installation. It said that when the battery is then reconnected, the computer would then recognize the new exhaust and help make everything work together up to its full potential. My thought is that if you didn't disconnect the battery, maybe your computer just doesn't realize that it has a new exhaust system to deal with and the Flashpaq may not be able to program everything as it should. Kind of long, but just a thought I had. dave

Dave, I already tried pulling fuse #17 and strangely enough the car felt like the e-brake was on. It lit a CEL which is nor surprise and would barely accelerate. I did not unhook the battery with any of the mods I did. I realize the instructions said so, but what good are instructions? <G> I will do that to reset the ecu just to see. My exhaust started out with removing the resonator and welding in spintech mufflers. Sounded phenomenal from the outside but too much drone on the inside. I then installed Magnaflow resonators in the area where the suitcase was originally and I now have next to no drone. Sounds great. I definately don't pussy foot it but it is a good excuse to get on it even more often..:> Baldy, good point about the 18's. That of course makes a big difference. They probably grab better and have more unsprung weight then even the old N50-15's I used to run on my old muscle cars. I think I have a fairly good grasp of what the ESP is and does. Under normal circumstances I really like having it. I just wish I had more control of it.
