Default Whistling Noise

About half the time that I drive my car, if I get out and the engine is still running it makes a horrible whistling noise. Wondering if anybody had this happen, or could maybe tell what is causing it?

Default RE: Whistling Noise

Vacuum leak, leak on your air intake??

To test for vac. leaks, get some ether (starting fluid) and spray it on all your vac. lines (one at a time), if the engine rev's, you have a leak. Also spray some on the joints of your air intake, again, if the engine rev's...
