Have an 05 Dak QC. Today is the first strange thing I have encountered with the truck. I came out of my local quad store to find my truck's lights flashing and horn blaring on and off. It was like the panic button was pushed, I know I did'nt push it so I found this to be pretty odd. Got in started the engine to see my break idiot light go on when the ebrake was off, then my abs light went on, then my air bag, then my engine light. I was pretty freaked. Drove home and when I put on my ebrake the air bag and abs light whent out, but the engine light stayed on????????????Being Sat my local Dodge service garage was closed. I really wanted to hook it up to a computer to see what gives.................................Anyone have any input??????

look for the nearest auto parts store (reputable) and see if they will scan your codes, most will do it for free - because they know that you will most likely buy parts after you know whats wrong.

yeah, try Autozone if you have one in your town, they will let you use a scan tool and tell you what codes are thrown

There is a recall that may cover this. I have an '06 and was sent a recall notice to have my computer flashed. I have not seen this recall on any of the TSB sites, but I did read a post that it seems to be happening to 05's as well. Something about static discharge and electrical system failures and weirdness. Ask your dealer for the latest flash code for your computer.
