Lowering Kit Problem
Just bought a 2002 Dakota r/t ext cab that someone put a lowering kit on. It has stock wheels and tires, the suspension seems soft, and the front tires are scaping the wheel wells. Is there any quick/ inexpensive way to raise the front end an inch and stiffen the front and rea suspension??? It looks like the kit included lower A arms in front.

RE: Lowering Kit Problem
Get some stiffer springs, I'd buy a whole new kit from Hotchkis.

RE: Lowering Kit Problem
More Info... After more research it looks like I have a DJM Suspension lowering kit front and rear with Nitro Drop shocks. Up front it has the DJM lower control arms, and I can't tell if I have stock or DJM springs. The rear has the full kit (Hangers, and lowering blocks).

RE: Lowering Kit Problem
get that stuff off. DJM arms are not known for being the strongest aftermarket arms out there. i would put the stock lower arms back on with a 2" drop coil kit and some good shocks, Bilstein are good Edlebrock IAS are not bad.
