Throw er in Neutral, nail the gas... and throw it in D...

OK, don't do this. Bad idea. Uhmm, I don't know? You got a 4WD or 2WD? Maybe added weight if 4WD.

I haven't tried yet... but I have a manual, and I've slid her sideways on accident before.

Yeah, I've got the same "problem"... so I'm looking for a shift kit or something like that to improve power but haven't found anything until now...throttle body looks interesting but a little expensive for me...I'll have to convice my girlfriend...[&:]

You should be excited that you can't smoke em ! That means you have great traction people @ the track spend thousands to solve the spinning tire problem.

First of all if you want to smoke them, you need to apply the brake lightly, just enough to lock up the front discs not all four brakes while on the throttle. Second your going to need a little bit more low end torque to squeal from a stop and on turns. It takes a lot of practice to smoke an automatic. Or you could get a front brake lock kit for drags. They use this to heat up their tires without over-running the start line.

Dude, my truck may have the LSD but I was cruisin through town, and I was stopped at a red light waiting to turn left... well the light was red when I got to it... front of the line, turned green, so many damn cars went by, turned red again. I was upset. So it turned green, and I wasn't going to wait for the light to go red again, so the smallest bit of gap I could fit through I went... I let out the clutch at about 4K and slid the truck entirely sideways..... kinda surprised me. The 4.7L isn't no small engine. Especially [aired with the 6 spd manual...

I've smoked the rears slightly a couple of times on my '05 CC 4x4 4.7L with the front wheels turned OFF. It is indeed tough to do on an auto. The only way it worked for me is if I was sitting still..i.e. at a stop light or stop sign...then punching the gas. Forget punching it around corners or power braking. Another thing you wanna make sure of is that the back end is as light as possible. If you have any extra weight including fuel it won't work. Make sure your fuel tank is close to empty as you can get it. That's the only way mine would do it. I don't try to do it that often because I consider myself fairly light-footed. Previously I drove an '01 reg. cab 2wd. The only way that one would work is braking lightly while punching the gas. Hope that helps.

No it's not, to include the engine. That's one reason I'm glad I can't do that.

I can understand why it's bad on the drivetrain, explain the engine portion.

And are two-wheel burnouts ok?
