sure maybe a little more hp and torq if you like riding in a box. but how many times can a powerstroke get an overhaul before it has a stroke? I know for a fact cummins will take 3 times before it loses anything. hints million mile truck.

I know for a fact cummins will take 3 times before it loses anything. hints million mile truck.[/QUOTE] true a cummings make take a while longer to get an overhaul but when you hook to them to haul anything you just cant keep your highway speed. my dad has a 24v pulls a 24foot beaver tail with a jd, 5420 app 14000lbs and it cant get over 40mph when going up a hill. i am not to sure about the millions mile thing anyway because the truck its self ptobally wont make it tat long anyway. my dodge barley made it over 100k. my take on the whole deal is this if you doing alot of highway pulling up alot of hills ect ect get a powerstroke that way you wont get blown off the road. if you need low speed torque get a cummings. but the dodge truck its self wont last a million miles

true true i dont think i would ever own on ethat long and the time it would take to put a million miles on a vehicle would be forever

Depending on how often you go off-roading and if youv'e got the money get the 20's and take them off. Then get 17's or 18's on mud/off-road tires. That way you could have a choice between awesome 20" street tires (if you aren't planning on going offroad for a while), and have a sweet set of monster tires for your off-roading. My friend did that because we are busy at school and he only goes off-roading on the breaks or long weekends, so he just changes them before summer, winter break, etc., and drives the 20's to school. It's a bit of a drag to change them but other than that it's cool. But I don't know how much off-roading you do.
