Default SRT8 vs. R/T badge for new Challenger

Hopefully DCX is watching this board, so we may as well give them some info. If built exactly as we've seen in concept, with 6.1, 6spd and whether there is a V6 beneath it or a 6.4 above it, what "Badge" would you prefer on it?

R/T for sure, if it is the 425 HP Engine....

SRT-8 for the Challenger would require more than 500 HP to stick such a Bagde on an already great car... Also, an SRT-8 for the Challenger better run at least 12.0 in the 1/4 mile... My brothers '68 Charger with a 440 Six Pack ran high 11's... I know the technology is here to achieve this, now the Engineers just need to impliment it... And yes, we will pay for it! Just make it!

It is the Srt-8 engine... there for it should be labeled SRT-8...

Since the original Challenger Hemi (425 HP, or at least that's what we were told :-) ) was an R/T - so should the new one be an R/T!

It is my belief that if they are going to put the SRT-engineered 6.1L Hemi in the Challenger, then the SRT team should receive credit in the naming of the car.

For me, if they put SRT8 on it, R/T will quickly replace it.

Apples and oranges man... Your brothers 68 Charger would have been lucky to reach the 13's when it rolled of the assembly line, probably slower considering they didn't put 440/6's in 68 Chargers from the factory.

I would say R/T for for the 350 HP 5.7 and SRT 8 For the 425 6.1 Hemi... I wish they would both just be RT's with engine callouts on the hood like the old days but they will probably do what they are doing for the Charger and Magnum.

The concept was the 6.1 people, and in case you didn't notice IT WAS LABLED R/T. I think they need to put a more powerful engine in the SRT version.
