Did the update last night. What did everyone notice as far as what is different? I haven't reprogrammed my car yet. I wonder if we could get SuperChips to indicate on the updates what the particular update improves upon, or changes.

That was my point earlier in the thread Dave, I hate to update and install just to find out that the settings are more appealing where it was.. or that no update at all had been made. Least they can do is have the update mode indicate "No update available" and then you won't waste time in reprogramming.

I know what you mean, Daytona. But when I logged in last night, it said there was an update. Maybe it was the same "update" I did when I first got it. Don't know, but probably this weekend I'll reprogram it and see what happens.

I've got my appointment for the Dynotune on Saturday April 10. All I know for sure where the Flashpaq tune is conserned, the 91 setting is tougher on the fuel milage. I'm getting about 18.3 around town with a moderate foot.. at the 89 setting.. at the 91 setting I'm getting about 17.2 with the same driving habits.

I'm not complaining, in that the glory of being my age and with some dispensable cash is I'm more worried about.. smile per gallon.. than miles per gallon. Performance is definately better and the R's are more quickly gained.. I just thought I'd pitch in my observations on fuel milage @ the different settings.

Brian

My mileage has dropped some as well with it set on "kill" - LOL.

Drove it to work this morning and it still showed an average of a bit over 24 when I pulled into my parking lot. I reprogrammed this morning. Can't tell much, if any difference from where it was before. Tranny seems to shift harder/smoother, though. But that could be cause it has sat all week? I wish WE could tell it where we wanted the shift points. It seems that it's either at 6000 or back to stock. Anyone know anything different? Maybe in a lower altitude 6000 would work, but here at about a mile high, she's running out of breath a bit before 6000 - LOL.

Marty - take a deep breath. It will be OK, friend. :-) Someone will, eventually, figure out the ESP. Hang in there (me too!).

Dave,

What news on the latest update? Make any measurable difference in drivability or performance?

I have my GSM switch on at all times and programmed my car with the flashpaq. I figured the GSM worked better because when you have it on the ESP/BYP light comes on under the speedometer and the flashpaq does not activate that light. Seems to be working well for me.

Hello. I have the 2006 Charger Daytona R/T and see you have modded yours up pretty good. After a few miles, I took her out with my G-Tech Pro, and running dead stock, said it ran a 100.4 at 14.7. (ESP is on, stock everything, including just mashing the pedal in "Drive" ) but I wanted to have a baseline to start from. Two months later, er, right now, I have the Jet 2 stage chip, K&N CAI with open air to it, and Magnaflow rear resonators. As it sits I am getting a solid 28 MPG at 60 and usually over 23 MPG at 70. Sounds like I should get a Superchips instead of the Jet 2? Did you notice much change after the SuperMaxx headers?
