Default need help w/electronic boost controller install

sorry man! but can you help me. I have a srt acr 05. and Ipurchase an single electronic boost controler from blitz. I am have trouble with it working right. I put the solenoid split, into the vacum hose at the wastegate located at the top of the turbo. Then I was told to block of the stock soleniod. There are numerous (threesoleniods) the ones colored red, blue, green, black, right before the battery! I tried al of them and they was no difference in boost. the green on was the onlydiff, it boosted to 13-14, but it was not adjustable and the check engine light came on..

can you help me or guide me to the right direction. thanks allan

Default RE: need help w/electronic boost controller install

thanks for the reply

okay the line I tapped for the ebc aftermarket soleniod was the vacuum line on top of the WG. was that right?............ the way I block of the stock WG soleniod was at the soleniod itself. the one located in front of the battery. that soleniod has a green and black plastic vacuum lines. the way I blocked it off was pull the vacuum line from the stock. cap the soleniod part with a separate wvacuum hose, cap off with a screw. the stock (black) end of the vacuum hose, I put a screw in it. the way I did it is for temporary reason only. permanant will come later.

okay in testing it...... the first test was the green stock vacuum hose. same as above! the differance was that I was boosting 13 instead of the 9-10 stock range. It was good. the only thing later is that the check engine light came on and it was not fully adjustable. I would set my ebc to 5% then 50% and there was no diff.

I then switch it to the black one. the one going to the Wg. RESET the ECU, one tried it again. it went down to 9-10 stock. it was not adjustable after that. on the ebc I would this it at 5% all the way to 90% boost.

now, after all that I just tried every single vacuum line. nothing!

today I will check everything again.

Is there anything esle you think I am missing out on??

I know the stock WG can't hold the boost and it will be change soon, but I should be able to control the boost a little right? if wo how much is a little? maybe 1-2 pounds right?

or maybe I am useing the ebc wrong? I went over tons of times!

is that the right place I use to tap the ebc at?(top of WG vacuum line)

is the way I block of the stock soleniod good? at the soleniod in front of the battery?

thanks for the reply! I installed ebc in an eclipse, honda! I just took the stock soleniod out and went directly to the + line on the turbo and the other end to the WG. these dodge has so much vacumm line to mess with!

any more advise would be highly appreciated! allan
