I dont think its 435 hp if it is its at the flywheel. I say with our mods we have done we are no lese than 400hp at flywheel. then if you dyno it take 20% off is about what you should get so like 320 a the wheel .

I agree. With a cam change and headers (if they fit), you could easily get 435. Possibly with all the mods we've done, the addition of headers could get you close to 435. But we are certainly at or near the 400hp target.

Just so you know Hot Rod Magazine did an article on the 2005 Hemi with a Compition Cam and MSD electronic ignition system (just to by pass rev limiters) and got 481 horsepower at the flywheel. I don't know what issue but these engines are detuned big time to keep the trannys intact.

I have an R/T. I have been getting 16-17mpg around town and as high as 26-27mpg on the highway at 70 mph. When I first got my Charger last July, I was getting 13-14 and 23-24. Not sure if that was because of the A/C compressor or the driver reliving his misspent youth.

22-23 in mixed driving, if I play a little about 19-20mpg, but the smiles are priceless.

Kono,

I'm running a couple mods that others are not.. primarilly.. being when I'm running performance I have my exhaust wide open. With the cut-out gated open the exhaust gases dump and thus another 5-6% hp gain.. In addition I've modified the throttle body somewhat, including the channeled spacer to get better saturation of incoming supply and a modest improvement of pressure.

And yes what Baldy has said.. that 435 guestimate is fhp.. flywheel horse power.. so depending on the mods done to TC & trans.. you'll realistically loose 10-13% before the tires catch traction.

Good luck out there.
